My Tram Experience (Explicit)

So this surfaced yesterday. Makes me sick to think someone like this exists.

WARNING - This video has explicit language throughout:

The BTP (British Transport Police) tonight said on their Twitter account: "We've arrested a 34yo woman for racially aggravated public order offence as a result of #mytramexperience video brought to our attn."

COMPETITION TIME!

*Repost...*
RIGHT! Now that I have your attention, I am looking at re branding my blog. I dont particularly like "Another-Annoyance" and would like something more catchier. However, I dont have any ideas yet.

So I thought I would open it up to you, the people who read my blog! I was thinking of running this as a competition, where people can submit their entries, and then I chose the top15 or so and people then have to vote for them! Winner gets....hmmm I dont know yet, I will have to think about that!

Now on Facebook!

We are now on Facebook! If you have a Facebook account you can "like" our page and be kept up to date with all of our blog posts.

Amy Winehouse

After the death of singer Amy Winehouse on the 23rd of July, I posted this:
I think its very sad that it takes a "death" for people to "become a fan" in a sense. im sure there were many people who didnt like her, but now decided to run out and buy CDs (or download tracks). I think the best example of this happening was when Michael Jackson Died, and his sales increased dramatically, even more than when lennon or elvis died. Its a shame that we live in a society that cant appreciate good music until something drastic happens and the media push it in our faces.
Now it turns out her album Back To Black is the highest selling album of the decade. The album has shot up to number 1 on iTunes charts in every country. Billboard has reported that the album sold 37,000 copies within 36 hours of her death.

With sales like this, musicians nowadays are worth more dead than alive!

Virgin Millionaire's House Burnt Down

During a storm last night, around 4am local time a bolt of lighting hit the roof of Richard Branson's home on Necker Island. Around 20 people have escaped unharmed but the building has been completely destroyed. His blog reads:

Thank you for all your kind messages after the fire on Necker. We’re thankful that everyone is ok.

We had a tropical storm with winds up to 90mph. A big lightning storm came around 4am and hit the house. My son Sam and nephew Jack rushed to the house and helped get everyone out and many thanks to Kate Winslet for helping to carry my 90 year mum out of the main house to safety - she was wondering when a Director was going to shout CUT!

The UK Pink Floyd Tribute Show LIVE In the Isle Of Wight

This Friday, my band, the UK Pink Floyd Tribute Show are hitting the town of Shanklin on the Isle of Wight to give Pink Floyd fans a treat for the ears with a full two hour set and a feast for the eyes with a spectacular light and laser show.

Our show spans almost three decades of Pink Floyd’s history, from the first track on their very first album to the last chimes of ‘The Division Bell’, the Floyd’s final studio album released in 1994.

We perform note-for-note classics such as ‘Astronomy Domine’, ‘Shine On You Crazy Diamond’, ‘Another Brick In The Wall’ and ‘Comfortably Numb’, as well as tracks from the seminal ‘Dark Side of the Moon’ album.

We've put a lot of our time and investment into getting the performance right and getting the sound right, so we’re sure you’ll come away with the feeling that you’ve almost been in the same room as the real thing!

If anyone is in the area and fancies a night to remember, you can call the ticket hotline on 01983 868000 or buy tickets online at http://shanklintheatre.com/ There is also a facebook event here

Tragic Indiana State Fair Stage Collapse Kills Five

Tragic Indiana State Fair Stage Collapse: Five people were killed and at least 45 were injured when an “isolated significant wind gust” caused a stage setup at the Indiana State Fair to collapse. State Police 1st Sgt. Dave Bursten said the number of fatalities may rise.

Gov. Mitch Daniels said in a conference call to discuss emergency response that he believes the State Fair’s preparedness measures were adequate, calling the collapse a “freakish accident.” The Indiana Occupational Health and Safety Administration will be conducting an investigation of the incident alongside the State Fire Marshal.

Country music duo Sugarland were set to perform when State Police special operations commander Brad Weaver and the fair’s Executive Director Cindy Hoye made the decision to evacuate the crowd. Moments later, however, WLHK program director Bob Richards told the crowd the show was still on, though preparations should be made to find shelter in case the weather took a turn for the worse.

The collapse occurred seconds later.

The fair is closed today, but will reopen tomorrow. A public remembrance in honor of the victims will be held tomorrow morning at 9 AM.

London Riots

So It's now the 3rd day of rioting in London, and some idiots in Birmingham and Manchester as well as other cities are deciding to join in on it. Absolute morons.

This really REALLY annoys me, and in a way upsets me. Peoples homes and business has been destroyed by thugs looting shops and setting fire to buildings.

One of the most famous image of the destruction is this one. Not only was the carpet shop below destroyed, the 20 odd flats above it were destroyed. The building is being pulled down tomorrow as it has been completely gutted.

Shocking isn't it?
