So its the first weekend in October, and everyone here in the UK spent it sunbathing, having a BBQ and generally doing summer things. Not October things like shivering and drying off from the rain.
However, I was stuck inside work. In what was basically a giant greenhouse. Wearing a black uniform. In direct sunlight. It must have hit 35 degrees Celsius in there today. I burned. And work had the CHEEK to send me a new uniform. A fleece. Nice to know head office have a sense of humour..
And because of the temperature, I drank lots of water today. Which meant I spent a lot of time going to the toilet. If anyone looks at the CCTV they may get a little suspicious....I hope they don't think I'm doing drugs!

Well you can probably explain that you were drinking water a lot because of the heat and that should go over well. Either that or one of them has a grudge against you.

ReplyDeleteJoin the club, Poland was experiencing 'genuine Summer' too. At least we finally had some proper heat, because the majority of July was wet and cold.
